Armistice

Aims of assembly

Pupils will learn about events leading up to the end of World War I, the signing of the Armistice and what took place in the months after 11th November 1918 to ensure peace remained.

In addition to the assembly a lesson plan has been developed to help secondary pupils explore the events the signing of the Armistice in 1918 in more detail.  This can be found in the World War I Centenary resources section of the website.
