Badges

Some parts of the Scout Heritage Activity Badge could be completed using a war memorial project.

We have produced sheets suggesting how we think Alternatives A and C could be done based on war memorial activities. These sheets can be downloaded using the links below.

Awards

The Community Challenge Award could also be achieved using war memorial activities to help complete some of the requirements.

Our ideas sheet explaining how this can be done can be downloaded using the link below.

Other resources

The Scout Assocation made valuable contributions to the First and Second World Wars and as a result many Scout war memorials can be found in the UK. Further information is given in our 'Scout war memorials' information sheet.

Scouts may also find our general resources for youth groups interesting. They could participate in different war memorial projects and find out about a range of important war memorial issues.

Showcase

Don't forget to share any work that you do with other young people by adding it to our Youth Group Showcase.
