August 2014 through to November 2018 marked the centenary of World War I. Across the UK many young people were involved in the commemoration of the conflict through local and national events as well as projects led by their school or youth group. The teaching materials in this section are designed to help secondary schools approach some of the key anniversaries and issues associated with World War I with their pupils.
