War Memorials Trust has produced a series of helpsheets to give information for teachers and other adults working on war memorial projects with children.
These helpsheets have been designed to give teachers background knowledge about the topics covered in War Memorials Trust’s lesson plans and activities for young people. They cover essential information about the historical and current issues facing war memorials, as well as guidance on how to include war memorials in your school’s curriculum.
Older pupils or members of youth groups can also use these helpsheets to inform their own war memorial related projects.
