Restoration of Stone Cross war memorial, Norfolk
Two teenagers from Norfolk worked to restore a war memorial near their homes as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
Langley Park School for Boys, Greater London
In December 2013 War Memorials Trust’s Learning Officer was asked to visit Langley Park to assist with a war memorial project pupils in the school’s after-school History Society were putting together. Their aim was to research and compare war memorials in the area and develop an exhibition about this.
War memorial tour on Remembrance Day 2011
On Remembrance Day 2011 the 122 Inverleith Scout Group went on a tour of the city's war memorials, ending with laying a poppy at the City Chambers memorial.
Celebrate and Commemorate
It is the Flore Scout Group centenary (June 1914-2014) and the Cub Pack have recorded and submitted the Flore memorial details on war memorials online.
